Script Writers Wanted:

We are looking for two new writers with at least some basic training or relevant experience in professional writing for the stage. A good insight into the British Asian experience is essential, and some south Asian language skills would be preferred but not essential.

Rifco Arts' work is relevant and accessible to a growing British Asian Theatre audience and has gone a long way to developing new audiences who would normally not go to the theatre. This new project will tour to studio theatres in 2008 taking our work to a younger audience and talking about issues within the many British Asian communities in an accessible and humorous way.

Please send us a sample of your work or a treatment for a comedy story based on our working title "Why am I still single?" no longer then 1,000 words to mailto:jobs@rifcoarts.com. There is a small fee for the commission and some travel expenses to attend dramaturge/ collaboration meetings. The deadline for applications is December 7th 2007.
