Arvon Centre Director Required

The Moniack Mhor Writers’ Centre which is fully associated with the Arvon Foundation, is set in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. It provides a congenial venue where all genres of creative writing are taught: Novel Writing, Travel, Crime, Poetry... Many students world-wide have taken part in these courses, all with great feedback.

We are now seeking to recruit a Director to take the Centre to the next stage in its development.
The successful applicant must have at least 3 years experience in a similar role, including:

• Programme development

• Promotion and marketing

• Facility management

• Management of staff

• Development of successful funding bids

• Management of budgeting and finance

Applicants must have excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of issues around
creative writing and/or the expressive arts.

Clean driving licence essential
