African inspired Spoken Word workshops

Call & Response is an event exploring the African collections at the British Museum through discussion, spoken word, music and visual art. 

The day will include a presentation by British Museum curator Chris Spring and guided tours of the Sainsbury Africa Galleries. Participants then have the opportunity to work with inspirational African-centred artists to produce their responses:

N.B Pre- booking is required.  Please clearly state your workshop choice as above. One workshop per person suitable for age 16 and above.  Musicians will be required to bring their own instruments and all participants are advised to bring lunch.
