"Each year writers from all over the world come to UEA. Some come here to study for degrees in Creative Writing. Others come as writing fellows or to read from their work to audiences drawn from UEA, Norwich and Norfolk.

The New Writing Partnership offers a unique opportunity for UEA to foster the links we already have with the region. We can create new directions for the education of writers at every stage in their writing lives. We can invent new forms of writing and engage with established and emerging readerships. Our programme of events promises to make Norwich and the region into a major international centre for contemporary literature."
