This evening of readings, including readings from the recent PEN
anthology, Another Sky: Voices of Conscience from Around the
World, was held to celebrate the launch of Norwich City
of Refuge.
Actresses Sheila Hancock and Harriet Walter joined New Writing
Worlds' writers in residence Hari
Kunzru and Geoff
Dyer, and leading novelist and critic Margaret Drabble to read
a moving selection of poetry and prose. There was
also music from Amit
Chaudhuri.
The event was held in association with English PEN.
