New Writing Live! events are:
- We are joining forces with the University of East Anglia’s
International Literary Festival for a reading by literary doyenne
Margaret
Drabble, whose latest novel is The Sea Lady (7.00pm,
Wednesday 22 November, UEA).
- An Evening with the Poet Laureate, Andrew
Motion (7.00pm, Thursday 23 November, The Assembly House) in
which he’ll be reading from his new memoir about growing up in
post-war England, In The Blood: A Memoir of My
Childhood. Andrew is also undertaking a book-signing at
Jarrold the Store (central Norwich) from 4.30-5.30pm on the same
day (23 November).

Trusty and Polar
Bear - a fantastic night of live poetry. (7.00pm, Friday 24
November, Norwich Arts Centre). You can also buy tickets for this

- There will also be an Open Mic evening where Lab participants
will be able to present their work. Poet Martin
Figura is MC for the evening. (7.00pm, Saturday 25
November, Oak Room, Maid's Head Hotel).
