Matthew Hollis’s first full-length collection, Ground Water (Bloodaxe, 2004), is a Poetry Book Society Recommendation and has been shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best First Collection and longlisted for the Guardian First Book Award.  Matthew is co-editor of 101 Poems Against War (Faber, 2003) and Strong Words: Modern Poets on Modern Poetry (Bloodaxe, 2000).  He also works as a poetry editor at Faber & Faber.
