Kate Pullinger has published several novels including
The Last
Time I Saw Jane,
Where Does Kissing End? and
Weird Sister, as well as the short story collections,
My Life as a Girl in a Men’s Prison and
Tiny
Lies. She co-wrote the novel of the film
The
Piano with Jane Campion. Her forthcoming novel is
A
Little Stranger. Kate also writes for film and
television; her feature-length screenplay
Violet is
currently in development as is her adaptation of
Weird
Sister. She also writes for digital media; her latest
multi-media piece,

lectured and taught widely, including having been writer in
residence in Battersea Arts Centre, the University of Reading and
HMP Maidstone; Visiting Writing Fellow at Jesus College, Cambridge
and The Women’s Library; and creative writing teacher at Birkbeck
College and the TrAce Online Writing School. Kate is
currently the Royal Literary Fund’s Virtual Fellow.
