Kate Pullinger

Kate Pullinger has published several novels including The Last Time I Saw Jane, Where Does Kissing End? and Weird Sister, as well as the short story collections, My Life as a Girl in a Men’s Prison and Tiny Lies.  She co-wrote the novel of the film The Piano with Jane Campion.  Her forthcoming novel is A Little Stranger.  Kate also writes for film and television; her feature-length screenplay Violet is currently in development as is her adaptation of Weird Sister. She has lectured and taught widely, including having been writer in residence in Battersea Arts Centre, the University of Reading and HMP Maidstone; Visiting Writing Fellow at Jesus College, Cambridge and The Women’s Library; and creative writing teacher at Birkbeck College and the TrAce Online Writing School.  Kate is currently the Royal Literary Fund’s Virtual Fellow.
