worked as an Editorial Director at Fourth Estate and a Senior
Editor at Corgi and Black Swan. John handles literary and quality
commercial fiction and general non-fiction including history,
biography, memoir, current affairs, travel, and sports writing. His
client list includes prize-winning novelists Joan Brady and Barry
Unsworth as well as Allan Massie, Jamie O'Neill and William
McIlvanney. His non-fiction clients include football referee David
Elleray, foreign correspondent Brent Sadler and historians writing
on topics as diverse as Samuel Plimsoll, the gardens of Versailles,
the wreck of the Medusa, London bodysnatchers in 1831 and the
Crusades.
