Andrea Brady

Andrea Brady is lecturer in Renaissance Studies at Brunel University, and her book English Funerary Elegy in the Seventeenth Century will be published by Palgrave in 2005.  Her poetry has been collected as Vacation of a Lifetime (Salt, 2001), and she has published and performed her work throughout the USA and UK.  With Keston Sutherland, she founded Barque Press in 1995, and has since produced around 40 chapbooks and 4 full-length collections, including 100 Days, an anthology of dissent against the Bush administration.  In her academic research and publishing work, Andrea is interested in the formation of literary coteries, the distribution of influence and especially the interaction between literature and radical politics.
