Andrew Cowan’s first novel Pig won five literary awards, including the Sunday Times Young Writer of the Year award. His latest novel, What I Know, recently won an Arts Council writer’s award and will be published by Sceptre next year. He is currently the Royal Literary Fund Writing Fellow at the University of East Anglia and will take up a Senior Lectureship in Creative Writing at UEA in January 2005.
