Jill Dawson is the author of four novels: Trick of the Light, Magpie, Fred & Edie (shortlisted for the Whitbread and Orange Prizes) and Wild Boy, which has been nominated for a British Academy prize, and is currently being adapted for film by novelist Caryl Phillips.  In addition she has edited four anthologies and published poetry and short stories and taught creative writing for fifteen years, most recently on the University of East Anglia’s MA course.
