Rachel Hore worked as an editor in general publishing for eighteen years, most recently as Senior Editorial Director for fiction at HarperCollins. Since moving to Norwich in 2001, she has been writing, editing, advising new writers for the Hilary Johnson Authors’ Advisory Service, reviewing new fiction regularly for The Guardian and teaching publishing skills at the University of East Anglia.  Her first novel, The Dream House, is to be published early in 2006.
