Richard Beswick started his career at Penguin Books before becoming a sports editor at Queen Anne Press. From there he moved to Macdonald/Futura as a fiction editor and to Cardinal as Editorial Director. He later became Editorial Director of Abacus and latterly Publishing Director of Little, Brown also. Richard’s authors include Michael Holroyd, Vikram Seth, Alexander McCall Smith and Beryl Bainbridge.
