Rebecca Swift

Rebecca Swift worked as an editor at Virago Press before co-founding The Literary Consultancy with Hannah Griffiths in 1996.  She has edited Letters from Margaret: The Fascinating Story of Margaret Wheeler, Bernard Shaw and the Two Babies Swapped at Birth (Chatto & Windus, 1992) and Imagining Characters: Six Conversations about Women Writers, a volume of conversations between A S Byatt and Ignês Sodré (Chatto & Windus, 1995). Rebecca has also published poetry in Virago New Poets (1990), New Writing Six (Chatto & Windus, 1995) and written an opera libretto funded by the Arts Council called Spirit Child, composed by Jenni Roditi and performed at Ocean in London, 2001.  In addition she has contributed articles and reviews to The Independent on Sunday and The Guardian. She is currently Director of The Literary Consultancy
