Peter Tallack studied medicine and genetics before working for nearly ten years on the editorial staff of the international science journal Nature. He spent a further three years as Publishing Director at Weidenfeld & Nicolson, before becoming a partner of the London-based literary agency Conville & Walsh in 2002, where he handles both non-fiction and fiction.  Among the agency’s authors are Simon Singh (Fermat’s Last Theorem) and D B C Pierre (Vernon God Little). Peter also writes occasional book reviews for, among other publications, The Sunday Times and The Economist, and is the editor of The Science Book (Cassell, 2001).
