Theatre, before becoming Director of Copenhagen 96-European
Cultural Capital for six years, which was to prove to be the
largest edition of this programme to date and also regarded as one
of the most successful Cultural Capital projects ever. In 2000,
Trevor mounted a major presentation of the Copenhagen Harbour in
the City which was a focus for massive inward investment. He was a
founding board member of the Danish Centre for Culture and
Development (1998-2000), and has been awarded a number of national
awards from the arts sector, as well as being honoured by the
Queen of Denmark and being awarded the Chevalier des Arts et
des Letters by former French Minister of Culture, Jacques
Lang. In 2000 he relocated to England and was Director of The
Salisbury Festival (2000-2004) which he successfully developed
while maintaining his directorship of CIT. From 2004 he has
been Director of The New Writing Partnership.
